Attorney Brandon Vegter

Biography

Brandon Vegter is a senior associate of Tropea McMillan. With over 18 years of experience as an attorney, he is committed to direct, effective representation of clients and their interests. His practice includes complex environmental litigation,
insurance coverage, and business disputes.

Brandon represents clients in a wide variety of toxic tort litigation, bad faith insurance cases, and construction disputes. He successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He collected over $2.0 million in construction funds. He won summary judgment motions for clients in a number of cases. Brandon represented clients in environmental and personal injury defense cases, including several substantial exposure federal and state environmental clean-up litigations involving CECRLA and RCRA, as well as analogous state statutes and common law.

Before joining Tropea McMillan, Brandon worked for a midsize litigation firm based in San Diego. Brandon served as a legal intern for the City of Orlando and in the United State's Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida working with cases involving Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
